Day 3...do i look like Kate Moss yet??
Day 3 almost complete.......this morning i had shed another 0.3kg freaking check me out, almost a kilo all up!! Anyway it may all go wrong this weekend as im planning a rather hearty drinking session and will likely eat some naughty food so we will see how it affects the weight :) Today went rather well again, but i failed miserably at the brekkie cos work was was just wayyyyyyyyyyyy too busy. Will be having my daily dose of oatbran as part of my dinner, im thinking of whipping up some fishcakes :) yummy!! ♥

Day 2.....Still doing the Dukan :)
Ok so this morning was the first 'weigh in' I wasnt really expecting much, i was a bit skeptical about actually losing anything in such a short space of time but i was pleasantly surprised!! I hopped on the scales (pre coffee and post wee of course) and was shocked to find i had lost 0.6kg!! GO ME!!!! lol. Needless to say this definitely motivated me to keep up the good work today! Im loving the oatbran porridge for brekkie, and i had a hearty helping of scrambled egg with salmon for lunch, followed by grilled chicken in a fat free yoghurt/tadoori marinade for dinner, YUMMY!! i also found a recipe for a dukan chocolate mousse which is setting in the fridge as i write!! cant wait for that! Looking forward to tomorrows weigh in to see whats happened :) ♥

Doing the Dukan, Day 1
Sooooo, i have finally taken the plunge and commenced the much talked about Dukan Diet. I have been considering it for a while now as i have slowly piled on the pounds over the last few months. After much research and lots of positive reading, i think its for me, it seems u may get instant results which will def keep me interested, anything less than instant n it will be gone lol, im not known for my patience!!
I weighed in this morning.....60.9kg!!! the heaviest i have ever been and i refuse to get any bigger. I feel motivated to lose at least 10kg and get back down to a size im more used to and comfortable with. The food was ok, i had oatbran porridge for brekkie, mini quiches (with ham instead of the pastry!! a genius idea) for lunch, and 2 pieces of fish marinated in a dash of lemon juice and soy for dinner. I made vanilla flavoured yoghurt to snack on inbetween times (low fat of course)
Thats it for the first day, no side effects as yet, and no urges to eat anything on the banned list :D result!!

My new blog!!
Today im joining the technological world. Yippee!! However...... i feel the fear that i may not have anything exciting or interesting to say!! Firstly i am nurse so that in itself should provide some very interesting stories to talk about here lol, second, im a mother to a 14 year old boy, also a source of amusing anecdotes, and thirdly i am a partner, with a boyfriend who is a good few years younger than myself :) perhaps i do have something to offer after all!!! Oh and did i mention owner to a crazy collie puppy!! Welcome to my world, just another day in paradise ♥
